Summary: This course shows users how to start, shut down, and restart the computer; display system and desktop information and online help; work with icons and windows; organize files and folders; and edit and print data. This course describes how to meet International Computer Driving Licence (ICDL) objectives on a computer using a Windows operating system. The ICDL test can be taken with any application and although this course demonstrates a specific system/application, the tasks it teaches can be applied to other applications as well.

Technical Requirements: P500+ Processor, 128MB of RAM; Windows 2000, 2003, XP, Minimum screen resolution 800x600, Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher; Windows Media Player 9.0 or higher; Flash 8.0 or higher; 56K minimum connection; broadband (256 kpbs or higher) connection recommended; Javascript, DHTML and cookies enabled; Sound card with speakers or headphones strongly recommended.
