Summary: This course covers developing applications in the Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 environment, and utilizing programming languages such as XML to integrate functionality. SharePoint fundamentals covered in this course include customizing data retrieval and workflows, and creating hierarchical Web sites and features for the streamlined, centralized administration and use of organizational data. This course also introduces the use of Document Policies for logically managing document handling, the use of Page Authoring for managing MOSS 2007 Web content, and other topics
Ojectives: After completing this course, students will be able to: Create and customize a document policy. Create and customize the Auditing Policy feature. Customize and use Records Management features. Create, edit, and author HTML and Web pages. Create new content deployment paths. Provide variations of Web content. Provision or add multiple sites to a SharePoint hierarchy.
