Summary: This course shows users how to use the new COBOL to compile code and debug.
Ojectives: After completing this course, students will be able to: Use various statements to combine programs
Determine when to use static calls and when to use dynamic calls, and their appropriate options
Use different compilers
Differentiate between COBOL OS/VS compiler options and new COBOL compiler options, and resolve compatibility issues
Use the DEBUG-ITEM special register in the debugging process
Use TEST and its suboptions in the debugging process
Invoke the Debug tool and use the various Debug tool commands
