After completing this course, students will be able to:

Identify the basic characteristics of the xDSL, broadband cable, POTS/PSTN, satellite, and wireless internet access.
Define the function of remote access protocols and services.
Identify, and describe the purpose and function of the security protocols.
Identify the authentication protocols.
